It is considered 'Dwarf' grower by comparison. While it matures as a full, bushy shrub between 3 to 4 feet if left unpruned, most plants in Mussaenda genus grow much larger. The flowers are small bright yellow funnels surrounded by a paler butter to creamy white, unusual, long, winged shaped, green veined assymetrical sepals
