Maid of Orleans is a very lightly fragrant true Arabian Sambac Jasmine. The flowers are waxy, snow white, clusters of tight, small singles that are typically about 1/2 to 1 inch in diameter.

The very lightly fragrant flowers are present almost continuously in warm climates. The leaves are small-sized, glossy ovals, spaced in pairs on a rather open, upright-growing, branched bush that matures at about 3 to 4 feet in height.

Frequent pruning is needed to encourage branching and reduce top heaviness. Maid of Orleans performs best outdoors in full sun to light shade, but can be adapted to grow indoors, but not easily. It requires more light and warmer temperatures than the average indoor growing environment provides. Great gift for a gardener of any skill level.

Condition: This product is one (1) young, starter-sized plant intended for a gardener to grow to its mature size. You may expect a starter-size plant to be well-rooted, have a root zone of approximately 4 inches in diameter, be a minimum of about 6 to 8 inches tall, and have no blooms or buds on arrival. It may be shipped with or without a pot, as appropriate.
