The Pink Rose Cascade or Surinam Powder Puff Tree (Calliandra Surinamensis) is a non-invasive, fast-growing member of the large Mimososaceae Family. Like most plants of this genus, the pinnate leaves close together like praying hands at night. It is a highly prolific bloomer with unusual pink and white puff ball flowers that begin as buds that resemble small berries.
