Mandavillas are a group of tropical vines that are native to Central and South America. There are more than 100 different species and cultivars. These have formerly been classed as Dipladenias, but recently have been merged as Mandavillas.

The flower of Red Riding Hood is actually a dark hot pink. It is a quick growing warm weather bloomer that will climb a trellis or other structure to height of approximately 12 to 15 feet.

It can also be grown as a loose, open, sprawling, free standing shrub.

Red Riding Hood is a fast growing, prolific, warm season bloomer with dark green, leathery, lance like foliage with showy, large, lightly fragrant, bright, neon pink trumpet shaped flowers with sunny yellow white rimmed throats. It has many versatile uses in the tropical and subtropical landscape as well as adapting well to indefinite potted culture. Use them on trellis, fences, or other supports, let them spill outward over baskets, large pots, or plants, or give them a starring spot trained to an espalier frame.

Condition: One (1) Well rooted, starter size plant growing and shipped in a 4 inch diameter plastic pot. Plant will be a minimum of about 6 to 8 inches tall and unlikely to have bloom or bud at the time of shipping.
