Mandevillas are a group of tropical vines that are native to Central and South America. There are more than 100 different species and cultivars. These have formerly been classed as Dipladenias, but recently have been merged as Mandevillas

Flowers are showy, large, lightly fragrant, bright, pure white trumpets with sunny yellow throats.

This White cultivar is a quick growing, warm weather bloomer that will climb a trellis or other structure to height of approximately 12 to 15 feet. Leaves are large dark green, pointed ovals, with a leathery texture.

Mandevillas have many versatile uses in the tropical and subtropical landscape as well as adapting well to indefinite potted culture. Use them on trellis, fences, or other supports, let them spill outward over baskets, large pots, or plants, or give them a starring spot trained to an espalier frame. This cultivar is somewhat unique and prized as it is also lightly fragrant.

Growers Note: Mandevillas will often go fully dormant, even dying back to the ground in the winter, even in tropical climates.
