Heliotropium arborescens or Heliotrope 'Fragrant Delight' is a highly sought-after perennial known for its vanilla-scented blooms and ability to attract butterflies late in Summer.

Heliotropes will grace the garden with abundant, vibrant, multi-toned, tightly clustered flowers in varying shades of royal purple and lavender. They are useful for adding color throughout summer, as the bloom cycle typically begins in late Spring to early Summer and continues to mid-Fall within the recommended Zone Range. The nectar-rich blooms and pleasant vanilla scent are attractive to butterflies, hummingbirds, and humans.

Heliotrope 'Fragrant Delight' performs best in light shade and benefits from frequent light pruning to maintain shape and body and remove spent flowers. It is perennial within the recommended Zone Range but is frequently grown as an annual or overwintered indoors in colder climates.

This plant should be kept out of reach of pets and children.

Condition: One (1) Well rooted, starter size plant growing and shipped in a 4 inch diameter plastic pot. Plant will be a minimum of about 3 to 6 inches tall and unlikely to have bloom or bud at the time of shipping.
