The Cherub Angels Trumpet is a smaller, slower growing Brugmansia that will reach a mature height of only about 6 to 7 feet. It typically grows wider than it is tall, and is an extraordinarily profuse bloomer, with delicate peach toned pink, fragrant, flowers hanging from top to tip when it is in full bloom. It is a seedling cross from Ecuador Pink and unknown pollen parents hybridized by Dr. Jim Alston of Park Seed.
The flowers of the Cherub are somewhat smaller at about 6 inches to 8 inches, but certainly make up in quantity what they might lack in size. Flowers appear profusely in long lasting bloom cycles that literally cover the plant from top to bottom.
The flowers go through a color range from white to coral tinted pink, and are intensely fragrant at night.
Cherub is a great choice for large patio pots or garden containers.
