Spathiphyllum or Peace Lily has been an interiorscape staple for decades. This plant produces large dark green leaves with an attractive sheen at maturity. In extremely low light, Peace Lily can be used as a traditional foliage accent. In higher light conditions, Peace Lily produces multiple bright white spathes during Spring that have earned this plant its name.

The pure white blooms of Peace Lily are said to represent the white flag of surrender, innocence, purity, and sympathy. The benefits of Peace Lily are not limited to its appearance though, this plant is known for removing as many as five of the most common indoor air toxins from homes. Peace Lily's versatility has led it to being arguably one of the post popular indoor plants ever.
