The purple variety of King's Mantel is a favorite Southern landscape choice. The white cultivar is less common and highly prized. It is seldom grown commercially and is not widely available in chain store garden centers or retail outlets.

Like its purple sister, it matures at average of 5 to 6 feet tall, and can be used as flowering hedge or eye catching accent plant, bracket columns, or background in mixed perennial beds.

Masses of pure white trumpet shaped flowers with brilliant yellow throats begin appearing in a profuse cascade all along the stems in the late Spring in a long cycle that lasts well into summer
