There are few plants that are more beautiful and rewarding to grow than Gardenias.

Vetchii is an old Heirloom Gardenia that grows well on its own roots. It quickly to matures into a medium-sized rounded shrub at about 3 feet in height, and requires minimal care to produce a luxurious bounty, medium-sized wonderfully fragrant, pure white flowers with minimal effort.

The long bloom cycles begins in the late spring and lasts through mid Summer with scattered flowers appearing year round. The flowers appear in several peak bursts within the longer blooming period.

Well suited for growing as an outdoor potted plant, planted in-ground as shade garden element, background, accent or tranition.

For the best results, plant well draining, slightly acidic soil, in a location that is sheltered from hot afternoon sun. Suitable for planting in the landscape or as potted plant.

Vetchii is moderately cold tolerant and recommended for Zones 8, 9, 10. However, sudden short duration dips below the upper 20*'s can sometimes cause minor burn and defoliation.

Growers Note: Gardenias are notoriously difficult to grow and maintain indoors, and are best brought inside when blooming and then returned to an outdoor environment.

Condition: This product is one (1) young, starter-sized plant intended for a gardener to grow to its mature size. You may expect a starter-size plant to be well-rooted, have a root zone of approximately 4 inches in diameter, be a minimum of about 6 to 8 inches tall, and have no blooms or buds on arrival. It may be shipped with or without a pot, as appropriate.

Plants are guaranteed to arrive in healthy, viable condition. This warranty is contingent upon the Seller receiving prompt notification of any issues or concerns with the plant\'s condition or appearance.
