Ida is a complex arborea hybrid developed byTonny Surrow-Hansen and released in 1996 . It matures as a bushy, upright large branched, prolifically blooming shrub with large pointed-oval hand-sized deep green leaves.

The large flowers begin as large pastel greenish yellow buds that open into nodding recurved, whiskered trumpets of translucent creamy white with a distinctive celery green center and lateral bands. The flowers hang at about a 55º angle rather than hanging vertically, showing off the elegantly colored throats. Flowers are fragrant at night, open slowly over several weeks and last for several days

Ida takes some time to become established and reach full blooming potential, but is well worth the wait. When bloom cycles finally begin, they are frequent and long lasting. . All Brugmansias take time to mature and reach their full blooming potential. Ida is prolific bloomer with a long, repeating bloom cycle.

Condition: One (1) Well rooted, starter size plant w/ 4 inch diameter root zone. Plant will be a minimum of about 4 to 8 inches tall and unlikely to have bloom or bud at the time of shipping. May be shipped bare, wrapped root ball w/o pot.
