Passifloras are a unique and interesting species native to Central America. There are several hundred different types in an endless variety of color combinations. In the early 1600's Catholic priests in Peru documented what they believed to be a religious symbolism in the unique flowers.

The Blue Bouquet Passion Flower Vine, hybridized by Richard McCain, is semi evergreen, woody, tendriled, fast growing vine, similar in appearance to its Caerulea parent with palmate leaves are made up of five slender lobes, and thin, twining stems. Blue Bouquet is a warm season bloomer begins blooming in the late spring to early summer, depending on night time temperatures, and continues into the early Fall. It produces an abundance of lightly scented lavender toned blue flowers with bright blue filaments.

Condition: One (1) Well rooted, starter size plant growing and shipped in a 4 inch diameter plastic pot. Plant will be a minimum of about 6 to 8 inches tall and unlikely to have bloom or bud at the time of shipping.
