Quadrangularis or Giant Grandilla is perhaps the most aggressive and vigorous growing of all the passifloras. The vine grows lush and dense, and will quickly climb, up, over, and cover whatever is nearby. It is a tropical type of Passiflora, will grow and bloom in light to moderate shade, and is a great choice for a large area in a tropical landscape where quick cover is wanted.

The unique flowers appear profusely throughout the warm season are so large and heavy that they tend to hang in slightly upside down position. The unique to species flowers have especially interesting, long purple filaments. If other passion vines are nearby to provide pollen, a very large ,up to 12 inches in circumference, yellow-green, edible fruit follows the flower.

Condition: This product is one (1) young, starter-sized plant intended for a gardener to grow to its mature size. You may expect a starter-size plant to be well-rooted, have a root zone of approximately 4 inches in diameter, be a minimum of about 6 to 8 inches tall, and have no blooms or buds on arrival. It may be shipped with or without a pot, as appropriate.
