Mona Lavender is hybrid brightly colored long flowering perennial plant that is a member of thePlectranthus species, whose foliage adds interesting color texture even when it is not in bloom.

The ;eaves are an interesting purplish green on the top side, and eggplant purple on the reverse. Blooms are tall, long lasting spikes of bright lavender tubes that are present in a long lasting cycle from late spring to fall.

It is a quick to establish, low maintenance plant that makes an excellent gift for a gardener of any skill level.

Can be acclimated to grow indoors, makes an excellent porch or patio plant or can be incorporated in tropical shade gardens in mixed perennial beds or as a accent or bedding plant.
