Caldwell Pink is an old rose from the 1800s that was rediscovered in the 1980s growing in Caldwell, Texas. It is also known as the Pink Pet and Summer Carnation Rose.

It matures as a large, open-growing, somewhat sprawling bush that bears very lightly fragrant, showy clusters of dense double lilac pink shaded pink roses about an inch and a half in diameter.

Caldwell Pink is an easy-to-grow, tough, resilient rose that is very resistant to the most common problems that affect roses. It is tolerant of a wide range of soil and weather conditions, has a recommended Zone Range of 6, 7, 8, and 9, and requires little maintenance aside from regular pruning after flowering to control shape and size.

It is an excellent gift for a gardener of any skill level.

Condition: This product is one (1) young, starter-sized plant intended for a gardener to grow to its mature size. You may expect a starter-size plant to be well-rooted, have a root zone of approximately 4 inches in diameter, be a minimum of about 6 to 8 inches tall, and have no blooms or buds on arrival. It may be shipped with or without a pot, as appropriate.
