Thryallis ( Galphimia glauca) is a fast growing, very low maintenance flowering perennial shrub. It matures as a large, upright, densely branched bush at height of about 6 to 8 feet. It can easily be maintained as a solid hedge row at lower heights of 3 to 4 feet as well. Common names include Rain-Of-Gold and Golden Shower Bush.

It is fast growing, quick to become established and begins blooming at young age. Bloom cycles are frequent and long lasting and consist of dense clusters of small single yellow flowers that cover the bush throughout most of the warm season. It is attractive to pollinators, but not typically attractive to deer, so it makes a great boundary/privacy hedge. Little maintenance is required beyond an annual feeding and pruning to maintain size and shape.

It is a semi-tropical plant recommended for Zones 8B, 9, 10, 11.

Condition: One (1) Well rooted, starter size plant growing and shipped in a 4 inch diameter plastic pot. Plant will be a minimum of about 6 to 8 inches tall and unlikely to have bloom or bud at the time of shipping.
