Mystery is an old Heirloom Gardenia, and is among the most fragrant and easiest to grow. Thanks to its strong, naturally resistant root system, it can often found seemingly growing wild on old home sites. It has been a favorite hand-me-down and pass-along plant for generations. It roots very easily using the classic cutting-in-a-jelly-jar-on-the-window -sill-method.

In semi-tropical to temperate climates, large doubled bloom appear like clock work in the late spring on tall vigorous-growing, long -lived bush that can reach to be 8 to 10 feet tall with an equal spread. . The classic, fragrant, elegant, doubled flowers are an excellent choice for cut flower bowls, corsages, bridal bouquets.

Mystery requires little maintenance aside from seasonal pruning and feeding after flowering. It is moderately cold tolerant and recommended for Zones 8, 9, 10.

Growers Note: All gardenias are notoriously difficult to grow indoors, so it works best to bring cut flowers, or blooming potted plants indoors briefly.

Condition: This product is one (1) young, starter-sized plant intended for a gardener to grow to its mature size. You may expect a starter-size plant to be well-rooted, have a root zone of approximately 4 inches in diameter, be a minimum of about 6 to 8 inches tall, and have no blooms or buds on arrival. It may be shipped with or without a pot, as appropriate.

Plants are guaranteed to arrive in healthy, viable condition. This warranty is contingent upon the Seller receiving prompt notification of any issues or concerns with the plant\'s condition or appearance.
