Lady Margaret Passion Maroon Red Flower Passiflora Live Vine Plant Starter Size

The Lady Margaret Passion Flower Vine is a newer passiflora hybrid cross from Passiflora incarnata x Passiflora coccinea that is vigorous, resilient and easy to grow.

The vine grows lush and dense.

The unique flowers appear profusely throughout the warm season in deep, maroon, pink toned red with a pastel pink to white center and long filaments delicately spotted the same.

Lady Margaret will occasionally set fruit, but it generally does not fully develop or ripen, and so is considered a sterile hybrid.

This species has an interesting historical background as 17th Century priests assigned great religious significance to the unique structure of the flower.
