The Tropical Hibiscus Marilyn is a must have for any collector of tropical hibiscus, or gardener who adores the soft, romantic and elegant, as this tropical hibiscus delivers on all three. As an added bonus, the plant matures into a strong, sturdy, rounded, self-branching, densely clad with medium green, pointed oval, serrated, leaves. It has a robust and reslient root system, is suitable incorporating as an in- ground planting in a tropical landscape

It produces tennis-ball sized, dense, double flowers made up of layers of thin, diaphanous, chiffon -ike petals of creamy white with the barest hint of pale pastel pink along the throat and stamen that is most noticed during periods of cool weather.

The best permanent location for Marilyn is one that receives the full spectrum of bright, direct light for 6 to hours daily, is easily accessible for watering to maintain consistent soil moisture. Plant in fertile, well-draining, acidic soil or potting media. Prune after flowering to maintain shape and size. Feed a good quality slow-release, bloom-boosting fertilizer annually in the Spring.

Condition: One (1) well-rooted, starter-size plant with an approximate 4-inch-diameter root zone. Plant will be a minimum of about 6 to 12 inches tall and have no blooms or buds on arrival.
