Codiaeum variegatum 'Tamara' is a unique and interesting cultivar of the old Eburneum variety. While it has the same unique, limited green and creamy white variegation pattern, it is a somewhat smaller, slower, and more compact version. However, it is important to note that 'smaller' is a relative term, as the Eburneum is a massive, almost tree-like shrub maturing above 8 feet. Tamara has a shorter mature height of 5 to 6 feet, making it a versatile choice for many uses.

It can be used as an accent to add height and brighten a lightly-shaded garden area, as a background, anchor, or transition in mixed shade perennial beds, or to add height and balance in large outdoor mixed garden pots. It may also be grown as an indoor potted plant with modifications to provide sufficient light, humidity, and warm temperatures.

Condition: This product is one (1) young, starter-sized plant intended for a gardener to grow to its mature size. You may expect a starter-size plant to be well-rooted, have a root zone of approximately 4 inches in diameter, be a minimum of about 6 to 8 inches tall, and have no blooms or buds on arrival. It may be shipped with or without a pot, as appropriate.
