Tabernaemontana divaricata Flore Pleno, commonly called Florida Gardenia or Crape (Crepe) Jasmine is really not a Gardenia or a Jasmine. The plant is in the same family as coffee. The misnaming comes from the similar shaped flowers and pleasant fragrance.

It is an easy and rewarding old heirloom flowering shrub , and the perfect choice for lighting up shady gardens spots.

Florida Gardenia will grow in full sun, but performs best in light shade, and prefers slightly acidic well draining soil.

Pure white fragrant flowers appear in the early summer and continuing to fall.

Condition: One (1) Well rooted, starter size plant with an apprxomate 4 inch diameter root zone. Plant will be a minimum of about 6 to 8 inches tall and unlikely to have bloom or bud at the time of shipping.
