'Dwarf Egyptian' papyrus (Cyperus isocladus) is a semi-aquatic, grass-like plant known for its striking, umbrella-like green tufts atop sturdy, triangular stems. Growing 1.5 to 3 feet tall, it's a compact, non-invasive version of the towering original papyrus. It's unique texture and a tropical feel, makes it an excellent ch oice for contained water features, such as water gardens, aquariums, and terrariums.

It thrives in moist to wet conditions, tolerating some standing water, and prefers light partial shade. While hardy in Zones 9-11, it's often grown as an outdoor potted annual or indoor plant in colder zones. Cyperus isoclaudus is typically very well behaved and not prone to stray from the intended growing area,. Condition: This product is one (1) young, starter-sized plant intended for a gardener to grow to its mature size.
