Bravo is a very colorful favorite, old heirloom croton (Codiaeum variegatum) with broad notched leaves in brilliant shades of red, pink, green, rust, orange, and cream.

It grows somewhat slowly and takes a bit of time and attention to reach it's full potential. This croton can eventually grow quite large, maturing at over 4 feet tall, but can be easily maintained at lower heights as desired.

Bravo will acclimate to growing indoors, but supplemental light is usually required for the best and full range of foliage color. It will withstand full sun if carefully acclimated, but performs best in light shade. Foliage color is determined by light, age of the foliage, and other nutritional and environmental factors.

Crotons produce non-descript white flowers, but are primarily grown for their brightly colored leaves.
