Sweet Pink is an Exotic Fancy Hybrid Tropical Hibiscus with beautiful, extraordinarily large, fancy, densely doubled flowers in varying shades of pale pastel shell pink. With proper care, it matures into a full, branched bush with large, glossy, medium green leaves. Sweet Pink is a very beautiful Exotic Hibiscus Hybrid. However, it is somewhat fussy and temperamental to grow, and is not recommended for novice gardeners.

Sweet Pink is one of our favorites, and we think well worth the extra effort it requires to thrive. Here are a few helpful suggestions:
It is best suited for potted culture. Use a high-quality commercial potting media without any amendments or additives.
Avoid mixes with starter fertilizer incorporated for this one. A pot and media that drains quickly and efficiently are essential, as Sweet Pink will not tolerate an overly saturated root system for long. Locate in an area that receives cool morning light and is sheltered from direct hot afternoon sun. Monitor regularly for plant problems common to hibiscus and treat promptly and appropriately as necessary. Prune lightly and often by pinching terminal tips to build interior strength, body, and branching. Tropical hibiscus do not adapt easily to average indoor growing conditions as their needs for full spectrum light, fluctuations in warm temperatures, and high humidity cannot be met in the average indoor environment.

Condition: One (1) Well rooted, starter size plant w/ 4 inch diameter root zone. Plant will be a minimum of about 6 to 8 inches tall and unlikely to have bloom or bud at the time of shipping. May be shipped bare, wrapped root ball w/o pot.
