Strawberries & Cream is a Tropical Hibiscus rosa senensis Hybrid of unknown origins with several unique features. It grows more slowly than most, the branches are lined with smaller than average, sharply serrated, dark green, elongated, pointed oval leaves that grow dense and tight along thin, flexible branches, creating a unique cascading, weeping appearance, making it well suited for baskets and pots.

The beautiful flowers are soft, delicate, and well-named. They are medium-sized, classic, five-petaled singles with a strawberry red striated throat that blends into a skirt of creamy white, slightly ruffled, overlapping petals, and evoke mental images of a lucious bowl of strawberries and whipped cream.

As with many of the Exotic, Fancy hybrid types of Tropical Hibiscus, this one is a bit more fussy than the average. It is best grown as well well-tended potted plant or hanging basket. Careful attention must be paid to watering as it needs consistently moist media, but will not tolerate overly saturated roots for very long. It requires 4-5 hours of full-spectrum light to produce flowers, but it must be protected from exposure to direct, hot sun.

Condition: One (1) well-rooted, starter-size plant with an approximate 4-inch-diameter root zone. Plant will be a minimum of about 6 to 12 inches tall and have no blooms
or buds on arrival.
